Detailed Item Description: This Eminem RIAA 5x Multi-Platinum award is a first presentation award that would have been manufactured sometime in 2005 or after. 

Interestingly, despite being a fully original award down to presence of an RIAA serial number hologram and authorized manufacturer (Ill Eagle Enterprises) sticker on rear, the award is for 5 million in sales. This is not indicated on the RIAA website which shows 4 million in sales (U.S. sales only). Occasionally there are errors to be found on the RIAA website, which might be the case here.

This award is in Excellent condition with very minor mars on the frame. It is presented to music retailer Park Avenue CDs.

Notes on the condition of all vintage RIAA awards like this one: Please do not buy this item if you want a brand new piece of memorabilia. These are historical artifacts from the year they were produced. As a result they may show signs of wear. Frankly, if you see a 20 to 50-year-old award purported to be in 100% perfect condition, it might be too good to be true. After all, an antique should have "good' wear. If not, you might want to question the piece.
