Grammy® Win Studio Participation Plaque for Gloria Estefan album Alma Caribeña, which won for Best Traditional Tropical Latin Album at the 43rd Annual Grammy Awards. The plaque is presented to The Hit Factory®, the recording studio in New York City where much of the album was recorded, along with the studio owner the late Ed Germano, who owned the studio since 1975. Dated 2000, the plaque is in VG condition.

The plaque has been closely examined by an expert intimately familiar with Grammy Award plaques and memorabilia and it is completely authentic.

As to where they came from, they could have been displayed in record label offices, recording studios, artist manager's offices, radio stations, private collector's homes and yes, of course, possibly the artist's or songwriter's home.
