RIAA 9x Multi-Platinum Award for Green Day Dookie album, which was released on Feb. 1, 1994. The fast-selling release was certified 9x Multi-Platinum by the RIAA for nine million copies sold on May 3, 1996.

Fueled by singles "Welcome to Paradise", "Longview", "Basket Case", and "When I Come Around", the latter three of which hit #1 on the Billboard Modern Rock chart, the debut release from Bay area power punk trio achieved great success. It went to #3 slot on the Billboard Top 200 Albums chart and won the band a Grammy Award for Best Alternative Album in 1995. Detailed Item Description: This RIAA 9x Multi-Platinum award is a first presentation award that would have been manufactured in 1996 making it approximately 26 years old. This award is presented to Marylou Hickman. It is not known what role Hickman played in the creation or marketing of the release.

The award is all original with Ill-Eagle Enterprises manufacturer's sticker on its back. This award is in VG to Excellent condition, with only a very minor mar or two on the frame and plexiglass and some minor surface damage on the backing paper.
